You Presume Too Much

Introduction:

How often have you been accused of or been the victim of the above?  Presuming too much of people is a problem for many people, including Christians.  Perhaps it’s due to the mindset of society in which we always look for the worst in people. It causes friendships to dissolve and feelings to be hurt. What makes us operate this way?

I. What Does It Mean to Act Presumptuously?

2.     Often it’s our own heart condition that causes us to act this way.

A.     Get the facts. See Pro. 25:2; Acts 18:24-26.

B.     Don’t assume the worst in people
