Reasons to Rejoice

Introduction:

Philippians has been called the epistle of joy. In the NASU, joy is used 7 times and rejoice is used 8 times. There is so much in Christianity to rejoice about! Throughout this book we learn that the Christian can hold our heads high because of the spiritual blessings in Christ: A key component in producing joy in Christ is unity. See 1:27 and 2:2. The Philippian congregation “got it.” They understood what Christianity is all about and were living it everyday. The Brownsburg family “gets it.”  Let’s take a few moments & recognize how we are glorifying God by the things we do in His kingdom.
